How To Unlock The Locked Vip Briefcase

Working in fashion and culture after a preparatory class commercial

Short answer:

1) it is possible

2) it is not easy!

------------------------------------------------ ---------------

answer:

You were probably told that by working well in school, you can do what you want later ... do not lose all your illusions, this is not completely obsolete. But the real message is rather that we have something for nothing, that we do not get the job of his dreams without having provided prior efforts.

Preparatory classes to business schools have the advantage of training students in a fairly general, with a very good level of general culture. Most doors are still open at this point.

After business school, we discover the extent of the range of occupations in which may have to specialize, and there are particular opportunities in fashion and culture. For example, at ESSEC, the pulpit Media and LVMH chair can be formed and to obtain useful contacts in these areas. There is also a specialization Cultural Management at EDHEC, and probably in all other schools (check it on their site, or enjoy your oral to learn from students).

Be warned:

  • that are not very conventional training (with respect to marketing or finance),
  • that you will probably control or management of the event (you will replace not Christian Lacroix),
  • it's a world where relationships are important (Even when leaving a great school if you do not know anyone, it will probably struggle a bit to find your dream job ...)

However, in these times of economic crisis, it becomes a bit true for all sectors ...
If the motivation is there, go for it!

Stories From People With Fetishes

Prepa Commercial: Training or formatting?

Now a question from Jean-Pierre Liegeois, who writes the Var (+1 in Culture Gé those who will recognize the reference ;-) )

" According your experience and experience of your classmates, the preparation Is this really a way to develop critical thinking? It's not just the opposite, in the sense that it is better to cite a particular author, teaches you to think a certain way? (I'm not saying I sincerely ask the question, I say.) "

a time when our brave Eligible freak already not to go into the mold to the oral and the most eccentric of them invented a character drama to better attract the jury (you will cross perhaps, who knows!), the question arises: two years of preparation business class they have a tendency to reap the same knowledge in a herd (good students), or develop the critical mind of each individual?

It is true that students are following a very busy schedule, which a priori does not leave much room for imagination! So much to learn, understand, remember ... For hours, we make records, we reread the lists of vocabulary: at first sight nothing very fulfilling!

Yet! Much more than a machine ever learn by heart (so to "pass the OCA Dummies" if you want to be imaged), the commercial preparation always leads students to think about abstract concepts rather, to use the knowledge gained to create its own thought. This is indeed the biggest problem here that really makes the selection between the students: this would be too easy to simply learn "foolishly" by heart pages and pages. The preparatory class commercial and business school that follows are intended to train managers of tomorrow. People a range of culture large enough to feel comfortable on a large number of subjects who are not experts but quickly understand what it is and what is the decision to make.

For me, despite the work, stress, parties to review and DST on Saturday morning, these two years of preparatory classes have been really fulfilling. A school environment "perfect" (with good teachers, good students who want to work a schedule devoted to schoolwork, and high-level courses) where you feel real progress. A commercial preparation class do not turn in Encyclopedia Universalis, rather it will teach you to better utilize the capabilities of your brain. Then you are free to deepen what interests you and you like the most.

Gay Saunas In Baltimore

Business Schools Rankings 2009 by The Point

Standings in the plural, this year The Point has conducted several evaluations according to different criteria. All rankings are available at below

http://www.lepoint.fr/html/grandes_ecoles/index.jsp

Note, classification "general" schools Bac +5, but also a specific marketing and finance, and a ranking of best schools for international.

More precise and targeted, these rankings a bit of a new genus should also help you in your choice of school. As always, they remain a point of view at some point, you must consider them as such and not as the main criterion for choosing a school. In general, we choose the "best" school to which you are admitted to the competition. That said, at the time of the interviews, it is better idea of each school, including visiting the premises and talking with students ... and it "feels" what school is good, the best adapted. With each new round of oral there right away things we like, and some less! Ultimately, the choice is rarely difficult.

Swallow Sponge Capsule

Next year, I come into preparatory classes Commercial ...

For me, it was true in June 2003 (I'm getting old!)
I had already given some advice in a previous article, rather focused on the topic "how to spend the holiday with terminal and entered into preparatory classes " http://prepa-commerciale.blogspot.com/2007/08/que-faire-pendant-les-vacances.html

I'll try to make some additional ideas to start those two years. Next year, coming ...

1. No panic. If you have been accepted in a preparation is that we have seen that you had the required level, other students are neither robots nor geniuses, just people like you.
2. No competition. The "spirit of competition", which means that we will not share info with classmates, it's stupid and it leads nowhere. There are of course prepared rankings, so it must be taken into account, but not must not be against each other. I think that class solidarity is much more likely to succeed globally (and including yourself).
3. No demoralization to the first (very) bad grade. We will tell you, you said, in prepared notes are just the reflection of work done at some point. They do not judge your value and are here to help assess your strengths and your weaknesses. In addition, the notation in class preparation is slightly different from the school: teachers are trying to spread the highest scores from 0 to 20 so that students can compare themselves to the class more easily (if everyone has between 10 and 12, not easy to know if we really have a successful ...); finally, remember, you are now in the same class with 25 other good / very good students of final year, the level is necessarily above.
4. No work late at night . Doubtless some isolated cases may you say they have been very successful in revising their math class until 2 am, personally I think it's a very bad idea: most people need 8 hours of sleep per night to be in the next day. I am sure we win a lot more to have a sharp mind during the course and take half an hour to read it again later in the day, rather than sleep in class and then spend several hours.
5. Do not cram your courses . You may soon be overwhelmed! In my experience, I advise you to invest upon re-entry of (very) large packages and in double copies of lever arch files of all colors, one for each subject (I've completed two per year in math!). Try as much as possible to read and store the same night your courses, history of always being updated. The calendar will impose Kohll then never stay more than a few days without each test.
6. Remember to live! The work of preparation is a big investment of time and energy, do not deprive yourself of the few pleasures that could make your day: a film session occasionally, a cartoon, a jog, a batch of cookies (one of these days I'll add the recipe for cookies on Friday afternoon, two hours between the hours of math and German), or other thing. I also have already written an article on the subject, but we emphasize this enough: we must succeed to arrange some time for himself to hold out until the end!

The list is probably longer, I put that in my view is essential.
Start the new year with confidence, motivation, and desire to succeed. This is the first step to success!
