Top Business Schools 2009 by the Financial Times

French schools still retain good places in the ranking (17 out of 50 French schools in all!)
Although these rankings can provide guidance on the school level, they must stay one indication among others.
The main criteria taken into account by the Financial Times are:
- the average salary at the exit
- the rate employment of graduates three months after leaving school
- the "international exhibition" means a composite indicator that represents openness to international school
These are of course important criteria and which are intended objectives. Nevertheless, there is at least as important to learn about the programs offered at the school, its graduates working areas (which may of course be very different!) And finally seeing, feeling, at the time of the oral tests , which school is best for us ... it's about meeting people, time, sometimes a "coup de coeur" !

High Cervix Cramps And Late Period
Cookies Friday afternoon
Hello!
As promised, although I once again let slip a little time, I'll tell you what has become a tradition during my second year of preparatory class, cookies Friday afternoon.
For the record, we had, as usual, during the 4h Friday morning, but unlike other days we had 2 hours break (instead of one) for lunch, then 2h TD math ... then another hour of German. DS and of course 3 or 4 hours every Saturday morning.
Both say that the time was German after a long day already, and before the time when everyone leaves for the weekend except when we were just in a hurry to revise some lessons for the next morning.
Where I got the idea to use the "long" lunch break to prepare a batch of cookies costs that motivate ourselves to 16h, girlfriends and me!
As you can imagine, such an idea could having success, and cookies on Friday afternoon helped us to stay motivated!
Now the recipe itself:
You will need:
- an oven and baking paper
- a kitchen scale or a measuring cup
- twenty minutes to prepare the dough + twenty
minutes of cooking - ingredients include:
I hope the recipe is relatively clear. This is not an incentive to shift matrices to get the stove, but from time to time, it is also good to see new things!
next few articles planned: a reminder of math, a book to learn or to be reconciled with - Accounting ... and I hope many other ideas, mine and yours!

- 100 g of chocolate (to be big chip itself) or a packet of chocolate chips (a little less good but simpler and faster to start!) or smarties / m & m's / toblerone if you want to innovate a bit
- 250 g flour
- 100 g caster sugar (if you buy it on purpose, take the sugar cane, the result will be more fragrant)
- 75 g butter 1 egg
-
- a packet of vanilla sugar (Optional)
- a good dose of cinnamon (optional)
- If you chose the option "I cook large pieces of chocolate cookies my myself", start there, knife or saving on a cutting board for example, once completed and put your chips in the refrigerator while you prepare the batter. Note: Be careful not to cut !
- Remove the butter from the refrigerator so it begins to soften.
- Break the egg into a bowl, add powdered sugar, vanilla sugar and cinnamon, mix well.
- Add flour gradually, stirring.
- Cut butter into cubes and pour it on your preparation.
- At this stage, it looks like nothing is normal. We will now put their hands in the dough (for real!) To make a nice smooth ball. Add half of your chips / chocolate chips to this mixture and knead some more.
- Once this is complete, you get a nice dough that you roll in the form of a coil for power then cut into sections. If you chose the option "I prepare the dough the night before", put your dough in the fridge for the moment, then cut out your circles of cookies just before baking the next day. The portion of the dough in the refrigerator is not essential but your cookies will be better for cooking (they spread out less, will be thicker)
- Turn your oven to 200 ° C (thermostat 7, I think?)
- Cut slices of dough of about 1.5 cm thick (Not too fine, not too thick) and place them on your baking sheet lined with parchment paper (a grid lined with parchment paper or a pie can also do the trick like mine if your oven has a student no plaque). Add some chips / chocolate chips on top. Do not stick your cookies because they spread a little cooking and you end up with a giant cookie!
- Bake for about 20 minutes. When the cookies are golden brown, remove and let them cool without touching it. They are still a little brittle when hot, but will mellow once solid and warm / cold!
- The proportions of ingredients yield about 15 cookies (two batches). If you do any cooking, you can keep your cookies for several days in a sealed container. You can also put half the dough into a sausage in a freezer bag, just in the freezer, thaw it and do that when you want to make a new batch of warm cookies. This implies, of course having a freezer ...
I hope the recipe is relatively clear. This is not an incentive to shift matrices to get the stove, but from time to time, it is also good to see new things!
next few articles planned: a reminder of math, a book to learn or to be reconciled with - Accounting ... and I hope many other ideas, mine and yours!

News: what do we do after graduation ESSEC's?
Hello,
No methodology today, I unfortunately too little time, so just a few new ones.
Me this is a graduate of ESSEC after a (very) beautiful ceremony. These few years have been extremely rich for me, both professionally and personally, and yet they went at breakneck speed, I still feel that the preparation was yesterday!
So what do we do once all courses / internships / exchanges abroad are validated and we graduated?
- much has already found a job on permanent
- others like me chose to go on a bit: I attended last year's double degree courses in Actuarial ESSEC - ISUP (on campus Jussieu), and I just preparing my graduate studies in actuarial science in an investment fund, which will lead me in 2010 to a final defense and I hope to graduation from actuary. (If you're lost, go have a look Orientation section, I wrote some time ago an article presenting the actuarial industry).
My job is to study strategies for investment insurance in emerging markets, to identify all necessary data then choose to assess how countries and societies in which we decide to invest (what criteria take into account what affect their weights, ...).
This is just one example, and can do a thousand other things coming out of business school: the whole is taking the time to find its way:)
I hope to return write articles more often and in the meantime I wish you good luck. The months of November and December are often the most difficult days of preparation with their growing short and cold ... next time I will put my cookie recipe-of-Friday afternoon, which we have found useful to keep!
