Hello,
No methodology today, I unfortunately too little time, so just a few new ones.
Me this is a graduate of ESSEC after a (very) beautiful ceremony. These few years have been extremely rich for me, both professionally and personally, and yet they went at breakneck speed, I still feel that the preparation was yesterday!
So what do we do once all courses / internships / exchanges abroad are validated and we graduated?
- much has already found a job on permanent
- others like me chose to go on a bit: I attended last year's double degree courses in Actuarial ESSEC - ISUP (on campus Jussieu), and I just preparing my graduate studies in actuarial science in an investment fund, which will lead me in 2010 to a final defense and I hope to graduation from actuary. (If you're lost, go have a look Orientation section, I wrote some time ago an article presenting the actuarial industry).
My job is to study strategies for investment insurance in emerging markets, to identify all necessary data then choose to assess how countries and societies in which we decide to invest (what criteria take into account what affect their weights, ...).
This is just one example, and can do a thousand other things coming out of business school: the whole is taking the time to find its way:)
I hope to return write articles more often and in the meantime I wish you good luck. The months of November and December are often the most difficult days of preparation with their growing short and cold ... next time I will put my cookie recipe-of-Friday afternoon, which we have found useful to keep!
