A little levity does not hurt!
Hello,
You may have already read my previous articles giving you ideas on how to improve her English (otherwise click the wording "The English" at the bottom of this message!), learned the word and idea by heart, rate subscription to The Economist (articles of very good quality, which often fall in translation, but the subscription question costs a small fortune, it seems: you can also read the CDI).
I've also been advised in the original films and TV series, subtitled French and then English, then nothing, as your level progresses. For example: Whatever Works, Woody Allen, or How I Met Your Mother (New York accent) or Veronica Mars (emphasis West Coast), or whatever you want, the key is to be curious !
short, I wanted today to advise you, if you've already exhausted all of these methods ... read the Twilight series by Stephenie Meyer. It's fresh, entertaining, fairly well written (in English anyway, I do not know what is the translation). We spend a really good time, in a world less childish than Harry Potter (javais also liked at the time), turned more on questions of love and friendship, instead of the family, Introspection of a teenager today. I'm sure you'll find the vocabulary (literary) that you did not necessarily have often seen elsewhere!
NB my gut tells me that this book contains the right marketing mix to appeal to any girl, not even a little romantic, I do not know how it goes for boys!
